She is survived by: her parents, Steve Abernathy and Melissa Mauney Abernathy; her children, Malikai Abernathy and Halen Pier; her grandparents, Dorothy Lou Pruitt Leming, Kenneth and Ann Mauney; and her brother Andrew Steven Abernathy (Alyson Peele).
