He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Lowery. He is survived by: his mother Mary Anderson Lowery of Stanley, NC; his wife Sylvia B. Lowery; his sons, Toriano Lowery (Nerissa) of Denver, NC and Justin Lowery (Kristen) of Denver, NC; his siblings, Rev. Lewis Lowery, James Lowery and Ce'leste Frazier of Stanley, NC; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Heaven, Phoenix and Karys.

“My heart like so many others feel as if a brick is weighing on it .I 've this awesome man for many many years ,really he was in grade school & Iwas in high school .His sister Marilyn & I were really good friends & when his dad would let us go out he would make Frank go with us even though we thought we were grown If he didn't go we didn't get to go .He was truly his fathers son ,full of love compassion ,never judging and always there to help whether you were a member or not .Nothing but love !”
