With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flossie Cherry of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loy Augustus "Gus" Armstrong and Ida Catherine Abernethy Armstrong; her husband Richard Lewis Cherry, Sr.; and her siblings, Clyde, Malvin, Leonard, Archie, Landis "Butch", Lemuel "Bud", Giles, Paul "Bill", Loy "Buck" Armstrong and Mary Ella Armstrong Holland.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Cherry, Jr. (Kay) and Randy Cherry (Kim); her grandchildren, Erskin Cherry (Kira), Kathryn Swingle (Todd) and Billy Cherry; and her great grandchildren, Elliot, Weston, Connor and Autumn Cherry.
