It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn (Stephens) Hunt of Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, June Stephens (Cornilissen) and Thomas Dodson Stephens; and her husband Gary Hunt. She is survived by: her children, Heather Kennedy (Tim) and Matthew Hunt (Jennifer); and her siblings, Teresa Moose, Susan Clements, Mary Gordon, Keith Stephens, Bill Stephens, Mike Stephens and Chuck Stephens.
