It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Betty Haas of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Phillips and Doris Phillips; and her former husband Stanley Dawson Haas. She is survived by: her husband Stan; her pet Quint; her siblings, Elizabeth Sykes (Berry), Robert Phillips (Lucille) and William Phillips (Cathy); her children, Karen Duffy (Jim) and Tom Haas (Wendy); her grandchildren, Jimmy, Greg (Kiersten), Scott (Vanessa), Alli (Gareth), Ethan, Gus, Liam, Anja, Zane and Piper; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Valerie, Cole and Charlie.
