He was predeceased by: his father James Ziegler; and his sister Thea Zarella. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Webb Ziegler; his sons, Aaron Ziegler (Melissa) and Matthew Stephen Ziegler; his brothers, James Burl Ziegler, Jr. and John Edward Ziegler; and his grandson Noah.
