Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Esther Thomas (Stanley, North Carolina), born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 95, on February 18, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stanley Bartlett and Myrtle Ethel Codding Bartlett; her husband Stanley Eugene Thomas; and her sister Gladys Haines. She is survived by: her son Kenneth Thomas (Patricia); her grandchildren, Joy Durham (Jeff), Faith Mathews (Greg) and David Thomas (Melodie); and her great grandchildren, Jaden Durham, Jacob Durham, Joshua Durham, Cole Mathews, Savannah Thomas, Jackson Thomas and Cooper Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Avenue Baptist Church, Att: Missions Fund, 1206 Museum Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
