It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Sanderson of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Decatur Sanderson and Nora Turner Sanderson; and his siblings, Louie Grey Sanderson, Raymond Gillis Sanderson, James Ellis Sanderson, Bobby Ronell Sanderson, Jeffie Lee Sanderson, Agnes Sanderson, Willie Mae Jones and Doris Nell Sanderson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wheat Sanderson; and his daughter Sharon Sanderson McLeod (William) of Belmont. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
