He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chaparro and Angelica Morales Chaparro; and his sister Asia Price (Peter Price). He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his grandchildren, Rhiannon Birden (David), Scott Carter (Stephanie), Shawn Bruce, Taylor Anderson Olivia Chaparro (Dillon), Darian White, Dion White and Kaleb Chaparro; and his great grandchildren, Hailie, Christopher, Brandon, Daniel, Iven, Keara, Lilyian, Breanna, Bailey, Jameson, Poppy and Amelia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Ed Chaparro to the Auten Stowe American Legion Post 144, 202 Park Drive, Belmont, North Carolina.
