Eddie Stewart Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Eddie Stewart (Stanley, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Stewart and Evelyn Weaver Harrell; and his stepfather H. C. Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Jan Grissop Stewart; his children, Brian Stewart, Darrell Stewart (Kim), Lynn Stewart Ellis (Derrick) and Michael Stewart; his grandchildren, Lance, Landyn, Leithan Stewart, Daniel Heath, Marty Tessnear, Auston Melton, Colby and Christopher McSwain; his great grandchildren, Colton and Connor Melton; his brother Ken Stewart (Reba); his nephew Jason Stewart (Natasha); and his niece Alisa Stewart Bryson (Kenny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (5481 Hickory Grove Rd, Stanley, NC 28164).

Memorials can be made to the Food Pantry at Common Ground in Stanley.
