With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Lillian Bailey of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Belmont, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Odell Bailey; her son Richard Lynn Bailey; her siblings, Clarence, Earl, Ezra, Mack, Samuel, Helen, Marie, Mildred, Jeanette, Sarah and Florence; her friends, Billy, Phyllis Echols, Loman, Geneva Giles and Ed Lewis; and her great-niece Sarah Alexandria Cabe.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Odell Bailey (Teresa); her stepgranddaughter Sammie Jo; her great grandchild Charlie; her daughter Lisa Bailey Wilbanks; her grandchildren, Bailey Wilson (Jordan) and Kellen Wilbanks (Ally); her great grandchildren, Emory Grace Wilson and Konley Dayne Wilbanks; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Bailey of Mount Holly and Ruth Morris of Georgia; and her close friend Ruth Lewis.
