It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Helms of Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest L. Helms and Mary Moore Helms; his wife Sherry Long Helms; his children, Christy Helms Haynes (Steve) and Wade Helms; his granddaughters, Hilary Blackwood (Drew) and Sadie Andrade (Gui); his great grandchildren, Henry and George Blackwood; his siblings, Faye Moore and Buck Helms (Ann); and his pet Cocoa.
