It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Louise Patterson of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chenee Randolph and Louise Shumaker Randolph; her husband Jerome "Red" Gaddis Patterson; her brothers, Glenn Randolph and Lynn Randolph; and her son-in-law Lonnie Tincknell.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Allgood (Tim), Edie Tincknell and Michael Hambright (Jennifer); her stepchildren, Elizabeth Williams (Joel), Diane Walsh (Paul), Coyte Patterson (Sherry) and Rodney Patterson (Robin); and her siblings, Gaynell Harley and Delane Randolph (Shirley). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
