It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Huffman of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Fairfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Scheetz and Doris Haegele Scheetz; her brother Robert E. Scheetz; and her siblings-in-law, Jaymie Tate and Lois Huffman.

She is survived by: her husband Dan E. Huffman of Stanley; her sons, Danny Huffman, Jr. of Charlotte and Matthew Huffman (Christi) of Engelwood, Florida; her grandchildren, Madisyn Huffman and Austin Nave; her sisters, Linda S. Tate of Kenefick and Peggy McClain (Kevin) of Bridge City, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Huffman of Fairfield, Ron Huffman (Jane) of Fairfield, Illinois, Nancy Hallam (Gary) of Fairfield and Cara Hrebik (Kevin) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
