It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Jane Gantt of Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Windy" Rhyne and Ethel Martin Rhyne; her husband James Raymond Gantt, Sr.; and her sisters, Delores Rhyne Robinson, Gail Rhyne Brotherton and Pat Rhyne Harrill.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, James Rhyne (Alli), Drew Gantt, Lauren Gantt, Chloe Fennessy and Nicholas Fennessy; and her siblings, Cotton Rhyne (Ann) and Weeta Rhyne Garner. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
