She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon C. Sudderth and Maude T. Sudderth; and her husband William E. Russell. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Thompson (Matt) and Kristen Benfield (Bobby); her grandchildren, Michael Helms, Sydney Thompson, McKensie Gore (Terrell) and Triston Thompson (Aliyah); her brothers, Eddie Sudderth (Judy) and Ray Sudderth; and her adoptive daughter Vanessa Herrera (Peter). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Belmont or Hospice and Palliative Care of Lincoln County.
