She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Luckey and Clara Beatty Luckey; her husband Ottis Nixon; her siblings, Muriel Lethcoe, Geraldine Baxley and Reid Luckey; her children, Jerry Nixon (Vickie) and Norma Morrison (Ronnie); her grandmother Francey (Terry); her grandchildren, Wendi Riddle (Phil), Jeremy Nixon, Andrew Morrison, Kara Blackwelder (Lee) and Erin Francey; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Savannah, Aubrie and Emmy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church.
