He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace W. Coburn and Lottie Ann Coburn; his wife Barbara Ann Coburn; and his siblings, Guy O. Coburn, Roger Miles Coburn, Lyle Gerald Coburn, Merrill W. Coburn and Shirley Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Thea Ellis of Stanfield, NC; his grandchildren, Mark Alan Weston of Alburgh and Beth (Chuck Gunter) of Harrisburg, NC; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kolby Weston and Raylin Gunter.
