He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Melbourne Love and Jocelyn Easley Love; his wife Joy Costakis Love; and his brother Thomas Malcolm Love. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Rob" Love, Jr. (Kay) of Stanfield, Donald Love of Stanfield and Laurie Shepherd of Waxhaw; and his grandchildren, David Love, Jessica Love and Sara Shepherd.
