She is survived by: her children, Debra Raper (Lynn) of Statesville, Steve Plowman of Mocksville, Dennis Plowman of China Grove and Charlie Plowman of Rockwell; and her sister Allie Mag Deese of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
