He was predeceased by: his father Lonnie Fletcher Huneycutt, Sr.; his siblings, Rev. Kenneth F. Huneycutt (Helen) and Elaine Huneycutt Freeman (Tim); and his grandson Tucker Lee Huneycutt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Safrit Huneycutt; his sons, Mike Huneycutt of Stanfield, NC, Chris Huneycutt (Michelle) of Stanfield, NC and Lonnie F. Huneycutt, III (Brandi) of Austin, TX; his sister Joyce Higham (Donald) of Oakboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Zane Huneycutt, Laura Castles (Ben), Andrew "Drew" Huneycutt, Reed Huneycutt, Saydee Huneycutt, Anna Marie Huneycutt and Mark Munson.
