It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Wilson (Stanfield, North Carolina), born in Lowell, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Raymond Wilson; her children, Robert Anthony "Tony" Wilson and Debra Wilson Hefner; her son-in-law Guy Hefner, Jr.; her parents, James Lee Parks and Cammie Lee Johnston Parks; and her siblings, Ira Parks, Raymond Parks, Bill Parks, Paul Parks, Mildred Watson of Evelyn Parks, Nathan Wilson, Joyce Wilson, Cliff Wilson, Maxine Wilson and Billy Short.
She is survived by: her children, George "Randy" Wilson of Stanfield, David "Willie" Wilson of Stanfield, Nathan Wilson (Barbara) of Stanfield and Elizabeth "Libby" Watts (Danny) of Stanfield; her brother Jimmy Parks (Robbie); her spouse Ray Wilson; and also, John Wilson (Maxine) and Sarah Short.
A twenty year cancer survivor, she succumbed to Alzheimers, bedridden for the past year.
