He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Jean Morton Yow; his children, Darrell Eugene Yow, Amy Jean Yow Williams and Michael Eugene Yow (Misty); and his siblings, John H. Yow, Jr., Nancy Tucker, Harvey Yow, Stephen Yow, Glenn Yow and Janie Burleson. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church.
