Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elsie Furr (Stanfield, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 95, on September 7, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Williams and Rettie Williams; her husband James "Pete" Furr; her son W. R.; her grandson Stephen Carpenter; and her siblings, Laura Bell Morgan, Roy, Joseph, Charlie and Ellis Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Carpenter (Gregory) of Pittsboro, NC; her grandson David Carpenter (Denise); her daughter Emily of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandson Michael Carpenter (Erin); her sons, Joshua and Zachary of Apex, NC; and her daughter-in-law Jane Furr of Locust, NC. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
