She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Tarlton and Jennie McCoy Tarlton; her husband Harold Herbert Furr; her son Herby Furr of Stanfield; and her sisters, Elizabeth Arrowood of Oakboro and Polly Huneycutt of Albemarle.
She is survived by: her close friend Flavella Drake; her great grandchild Mia Lynn; her nieces, Cil Foreman and Diane Powell; her grandsons, Justin Furr (Jen) of Estero, FL and Seth Furr (Candace) of Anderson, SC; and her great grandchildren, Ezra B. Furr of Estero, FL, Mia Lynn Furr of Anderson, SC and Cathy M. Furr.
