He was predeceased by: his mother Berline Hinson (Watkins); his wife Frances Jeanette Hinson; his father Claude Jackson Hinson, Sr.; his daughter Debbie Ann Clontz; and his sister Laythene Hinson Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Hinson of Stanfield and Cathy Hinson Clontz of Monroe; and his son-in-law Alan Clontz. He is also survived by three grandkids.
