He is survived by: his wife Christine Furr Drye; his daughters, Tana Stroupe of Stanfield and Myra Beatty (Barry) of Oakboro; his siblings, Benny Drye of Albemarle, Lillie Tucker of Stanfield and Diana Furr of Stanfield; and his grandchildren, Landon Stroupe (Hannah), Amber Stroupe Green (Jody), Brent Beatty (Ann) and Andrew Beatty (Kristen).
