He was predeceased by: his parents, Onslow Murphy Starnes and Leota Jane Starnes; his wife Loretta Starnes; and his brothers, Sherman Starnes and JD Starnes.
He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Pipkin (Todd); his grandchildren, Justin Pipkin (Camille), Mason Pipkin and Jessica Pipkin; his great grandchildren, Logan, Ethan and Landon Pipkin; his sisters, Francis Scarboro and Pat Bodenhamer; and his niece Terri Croft. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
