He is survived by: his parents, Evan McClain and Annie Sossamon McClain; his wife Juanita Stogner McClain; his children, Sylvia Rushing (Ralph), Vickie Collins (Tommy), Debbie Connell, Billy Joe McClain (Rhonda) and Mike McClain (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Rodney, Robin, Heather, Beth, Dwayne, Dale, Nicky, Andy, Mica, Brandon, Brandi and Shane. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
