We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2022, at the age of 98, Richard Jackson Parks of Staley, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Almetta Staley Parks; his parents, Clarence Parks and Lena Severence Parks; and his siblings, Frances P. Varn, Cecil, Charles and Don Parks.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Routh (Cris) of Burlington, Mark Parks (Cathy) of Coleridge, Allen Parks (Barbara) of Randleman and Herb Parks (Barbara) of Staley; his grandchildren, Chris Parks, Danny Routh and Vance Routh; and his great grandchildren, Cheyanne Parks and Dixie Parks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
