He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lee Jordan; his stepbrother James "Eddie" Caviness; and his great-niece Chloe Newbold. He is survived by: his mother Dolly Smith Caviness; his father-in-law James Caviness; his sister Gwen Jordan Robertson (Rob); his stepbrothers, Steve Caviness, Cleve Caviness and Terry Caviness; his nephew Shane Caviness; his niece Kristy Newbold; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan Caviness, John Paul Newbold, Dasha Newbold, Daniel Newbold and Emma Cudd.
