He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sr. York and Martha Brown York. He is survived by: his children, Martha Williams (Punchy) of Staley, Dawn Frazier (Kevin) of Hampstead and David York of Staley; his sister Shirley Lane of Ramseur; his grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew Williams, Laura, Emily, Cole Frazier, Ashley and Justin York; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Gabri, Gracie, Granton, Griffin and Aiden.
