He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Johnson Ellis; his children, Justin Wayne Ellis and Betty Sue Ellis; his grandparents, John Ellis, Edna Johnson, Luchien Marvin Maness and Mary Lillian Dunn; his sisters, Sherry Ellis Myers and Donna Ellis Ferguson; his brother-in-law George Kenneth Myers; and his stepfather Billy Junior Frye.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Ellis Frye (Mandy Boone) of Pittsboro; his brother Steven Ellis (Brandi Buffkin) of Ramseur, NC; and his stepdaughter Shannon Haymore.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Joy Baptist Church (61 Bowers Store Rd, Siler City, NC 27344).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the family.
