She was predeceased by: her father Roy Stutts; her stepfather Joe Burns; her mother Eula Burns; and her sister Sharon Duguay. She is survived by: her husband Hughes William Smith (Bill); her daughters, Mary Wilson (Larry) of Winston-Salem and Kayla Smith of Asheboro; her siblings, Pat Lowman (Steve) of Siler City, Karen Cooper Cooper (Richie) of Carthage, Mike Burns (Jenny) of Bear Creek, Jackie Burns of Bennett, Ricky Stutts of Cameron, Tim Stutts of Carthage and Mike Stutts (Ruth) of Pittsboro; her stepmother Marie Stutts of Carthage; her grandsons, Cody Ellis and Jeffrey Haskell; and her great grandchildren, Ezra and Sullivan Guinn.
