She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lineberry and Della Cain Lineberry; and her sisters, Ava Wheeler, Ruth Lineberry and Emma Jean Lineberry.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Jester; her daughter Tammy Marks (Steve) of Pickens, WV; her siblings, Shirley Lineberry of Burlington, Judy Moricle of Burlington, Bobby Lineberry of Staley and Raeford Lineberry of Snow Camp; and her stepchildren, Kelly McMurray (David) of Ramseur and Travis Jester (Jennifer) of Staley.
