He was predeceased by: his former wife Brenda Susan Shackley; his parents, George Shackley and Beatrice Barnes Shackley; and his sister Mabel S. Messina. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ryals Shackley; his daughter Jennifer Shackley of High Point; his stepdaughter Kelly Thompson (Jeff) of Sophia; his brother George Shackley; his grandchildren, Amaya Shackley, Baylor Thompson and Tucker Thompson; and his nephews, George Shackley of Rutherfordton and Bob Messina.
