It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Maybury Neff Jr. of Staley, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles, Sr. Neff and Ellis Octavia Hoffman Neff; his son James Neff; and his brother Robert Neff. He is survived by: his wife Avonelle Cantley Neff; and his daughters, Susan Neff, Karen Harris, Teresa Pauley, Tina Annette Cecil and Mary Jane Stine. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
