He was predeceased by: his wife Eula Williams Hicks; his parents, Hillery Hicks and Edith Turner Hicks; and his sister Barbara Gee. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Cox of Ramseur, Rhonda Evans (Randy) of Asheboro, Doug Hicks (Wanda) of Ramseur and Darrell Hicks (Tamra) of Advance; his brother Alden Hicks (Ann) of Farmville, VA.; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg), Wesley (Brittany), Matthew, Hillary, Christopher, Morgan and William; and his great grandchildren, Brody, Turner and Easton.
