She was predeceased by: her father Andrew Pittman; her husband Lester Hancock; her daughter Mattie Laura Hancock; and her brothers, Norvey Pittman, Dennis Pittman, Elbert Pittman, Ralph Pittman and Andrew Pittman.
She is survived by: her daughter Gay Hancock-Cox (Ricky) of Newport; her brother Larry C. Pittman of Beaufort; her sister-in-law Thelma Pittman of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Cindy Mintz (Matthew) of Stacy and Rodney Fulcher (Angie) of Williston; her great grandchildren, Brianna Grayce Mintz, Ashley Faith Mintz, Christa Laxton and James Piner; and her great great grandchildren, Travis Laxton, Jacob Piner, Ashley Piner and Lillian Piner.
