He was predeceased by: his parents, Wordie Murphy and Lydia Murphy; his wife Rebecca "Becky" Ann Hill Murphy; his sister Cornelia Taylor; his niece Patsy Taylor; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Hill Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Ava Dawn Murphy; his pet Ginger; his sister-in-law Janet Hill Salter (Bryan); and his nephews, Lloyd Thomas Salter (Amanda) and Patrick Hill (Rebecca) of Atlantic. He is also survived by cousins, great nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
