He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy McKinney; and his grandmother Lora McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Carpenter McKinney; his children, Cody McKinney (Kittie Gentry) of Hot Springs, Jesse Gage of Spruce Pine and Jenny Daniels (David Daniels, Jr.); his granddaughters, Page Daniels, Shyian Gage and Shilah Gage; his sisters, Gloria Freeman and Janis Reel (Leroy); and his aunts, Carolyn McKinney and Flo McKinney.
