Sonya Boone Byrd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sonya Boone Byrd (Spruce Pine, North Carolina), who passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Boone and Virgie Grindstaff Boone. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Byrd of Altapass; her children, Cal Byrd of Altapass and Anna; her son-in-law Richard Crouse of Altapass; her grandsons, Jonah Crouse (Kelcie) of Clayton, Sam Crouse (Sarah) of Dunn, NC and Matthew Phillips; and her siblings, Brown Boone (Eileen) of Old Fort, Kenneth Boone of Newdale and Joyce McLaughlin of Forest City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
