He was predeceased by: his mother Bertie Robinson Buchanan; and his siblings, Claude, Edison, Lealon, Marvin, Emory, Ray Buchanan, Elsie Cassida, Glenna Dellinger and Annie Dover.
He is survived by: his father Sam Buchanan; his wife Angela Buchanan; his brother Jack Buchanan (Doris); his stepson Jason "Scotty" Justice (Vicky); and his grandson Tristan Justice. He is also survived by Pap, and numerous nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
