It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Pittman of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Joe Pittman and Lucy Hollifield Pittman; and his sister Joann Pittman Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Smith Pittman; his son Jared Pittman of Spruce Pine, NC; his grandchildren, Athan Pittman and Adelaide Pittman; and his siblings, Kermit Pittman of Spruce Pine, NC and Jama Geouge (Paul) of Hudson, NC.
