He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Laws Edwards; his grandson Christopher Robinson (Betty Coffey Laws); his brothers, Lee Roy, Homer, Harold and Mack Laws; his daughters, Patricia Harmon (Joey) of Spruce Pine, Tammey Wilson (Arlen) of Green Mtn, Angie Miller (Tony) of Poplar and Kelly Kline (Patrick); his stepdaughter Michelle Hill of Burnsville; his siblings, Junior Laws, Grace Sturgil, Berma Robinson, Bonnie McCurry, Mary Medford, Lena Robinson, Jane Deyton and Kay McMahan; his grandchildren, Ethan McKinney, Candice Woody, Justin Wilson, Audrea Miller, Kristina White, Trisha Laws, John Edwards, Ryan Edwards, London Longenecker and Chelsea Longenecker; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Shelby, Jack, Tatem, Ryker, Aubrey, Harlee, Ivie, Kaden, Charlie, Braverleigh, Dawson Aiden and Calisi.
