She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Cox and Elizabeth Cox (Toots); and her former husband Ralph Murdock. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Pilot, London and Coleman Howell of Rutherfordton, NC.; her son Lucas Edward Murdock of Cashiers, NC.; her sister Debby Cox Woodie (Daniel); her son Silas of Avery County, NC.; her brother Jack Cox, Jr. (Linda, family: Eric Cox, Travis Cox); her niece Nora; her siblings, Sam Cox (Teresa) and Kathy Cox Annis (family: Carson Annis); and her children, Zane, Chance, Kala Annis Leyva (Alfred) and Bella.
