She was predeceased by: her parents, Pinkney Brown and Mary Greer Brown; and her husband Lawrence Ledford. She is survived by: her children, Jean Cassida (Dean), Johnny Ledford (Kim) of Spruce Pine, Ricky Ledford (Tina) of Spruce Pine, Janice Horton of Spruce Pine and Sherry Ledford of Asheville; and her sister Pauline Burleson. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
