She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis A. Gunter and Iva Burleson Gunter; her husband Bobby Ayers; her brothers, Ray Gunter and Ralph Gunter; and her half-siblings, Avery Gunter, Ada Gunter Silver, Ellen Gunter Woody and Nora Hughes Deal.
She is survived by: her niece Rhonda Gunter; her nephew Mike Gunter; her brother Howard Gunter (Lois); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Gunter and Veida Ayers. She is also survived by pets which were her companions.
