She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Nancy McKinney Jones; and her husband Luther Hughes. She is survived by: her children, James Hughes (Gail) of Newland, Eloise Biddix of Marion, Virginia Buckner (Keith) of Spruce Pine, Edward Hughes of Green Mountain, Linda Miller (Mearl) of Spruce Pine, Kathy Nunnally (Steve) of Marion and Nancy McMahan (Dennis) of Spruce Pine. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
