Mary Gween Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2021, at the age of 96, Mary Gween of Spruce Pine, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Gween to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bilicic and Barbara Frances Bilicic; and her husband Rev. Clayton L. Gween. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Walsh (George) of Carolina Shores, NC, Gloria Thornburg (Michael) of Little Switzerland, NC, Holly Gween of Santa Rosa, CA and Veronica Walker (Jamie) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Kristin Walsh, Mike Walsh (Jennifer), Sean Gilford and Kaleigh Walker; and her great grandchild Isabella. She is also survived by four daughters and grandmother to her adoring grandchildren and great grandchild.
Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of the Blue Ridge or Mitchell House Assisted Living, both of Spruce Pine, NC.
